Terms and Conditions
Booking & Payment
A session is confirmed once the required booking fee has been paid. The booking fee secures your session date and time and is non-refundable. The remaining balance must be paid prior to or on the day of your session unless otherwise agreed.
Prices are subject to change at any time, however once a session has been booked your quoted price will be honoured.
Rescheduling & Cancellations
If you need to reschedule your session, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice where possible. Your booking fee can be transferred to a new date subject to availability.
If the photographer needs to reschedule due to illness, weather, or unforeseen circumstances, a new session date will be arranged at the earliest mutually convenient time.
Session Experience
Family and newborn sessions are relaxed and child-led. The photographer will work at the pace of the children to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone.
For newborn sessions, the safety and wellbeing of the baby is always the top priority. Certain poses may not be attempted if they are considered unsafe or if the baby is unsettled.
Image Selection & Delivery
Following your session, you will be invited back to the studio for a viewing and ordering appointment where you will be able to view your images and select your favourites. This allows you to see your photographs in the best way and receive guidance when choosing images, products, or albums.
For mini sessions, image selection will take place via a private online gallery where you can view and choose your images from home.
Only the images selected and purchased will be professionally edited and delivered. Editing includes colour correction, exposure adjustments, and light retouching in keeping with the photographer’s artistic style. Additional retouching requests may incur an additional fee.
Final edited images will be delivered digitally unless otherwise specified.
RAW files
RAW (unedited) image files remain the property of the photographer and are not released. Clients receive fully edited images that represent the photographer’s finished work and artistic style.
Copyright & Image Use
All photographs remain the copyright of the photographer.
Clients receive a personal use licence to download, print and share their images for personal use. Images may not be altered, edited, sold, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.
Album & Product Orders
Albums, prints and other products are custom made and therefore orders cannot be changed or cancelled once they have been approved and sent to print.
Please carefully check album proofs before providing final approval.
Image Storage
The photographer will keep digital image files for a limited time after delivery. Clients are responsible for safely backing up their purchased images once they have been delivered.
Use of Images
The photographer may use images from sessions for portfolio display, website, social media, marketing, competitions or studio samples unless the client requests otherwise in writing prior to the session.
Liability
All reasonable care will be taken with your images and during your session. In the unlikely event of circumstances beyond the photographer’s control (such as equipment failure, loss, or illness), liability is limited to a refund of any payments made.
